The Qualifying Round of the MGIMO International School Olympiad for foreign citizens is complete.

This year the Olympiad saw 4,148 registered participants, with 387 of them advancing to the final round.

The criteria to make it to the finals set by the Organizing Committee were as follows:

For participants from the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan: to have taken tests in three subjects and scored an average of three scores (for each test) between 60 and 100 points.

For participants from Mongolia, India, Iran, Serbia, and African and Latin American countries: to have taken tests in two subjects and scored an average of two scores (for each test) between 60 and 100 points.

The dates of the final round will not be announced till late January. The list of finalists is published on the Olympiad website in the “Documents” section.
