Dozens of finalists and winners of the first Olympiad who entered the university in the summer of 2024 are already successfully studying at various MGIMO Bachelor's degree programs. Among them is the winner from Turkmenistan Ashirova Altyn, a 1st year student of the MGIMO International Law Faculty.

"I graduated from secondary school No. 27 in Ashgabat. For as long as I can remember, MGIMO has always been a childhood dream for me, although I understood that the path ahead was not easy.

I found out about this Olympiad thanks to my parents, who insisted that I submit my application for participation. After reviewing the Olympiad's website, I realized that this is the first such project at MGIMO for foreigners, and it really gives huge bonuses and a unique opportunity to enroll in one of the best universities in Russia. In addition, this Olympiad is a great chance not only to test your strength, but also to gain confidence before the admission campaign.

The victory was not easy for me. It was not without worries, because the rivals were worthy, and the tasks were not easy, although some of them were based on the school curriculum, but this makes the result even more valuable.

When I found out that I had become a winner, I was very surprised at first, but then I felt happiness, joy, satisfaction, relief and even more self-confidence and motivation to work on myself and study further.

I am pleased that my efforts and efforts are being translated into a decent result, and this meant that everything worked out and I can enter the MGIMO University without entrance exams. I am pleased with the direction I have chosen, because my faculty teaches not just qualified lawyers, but international lawyers. I especially like the foreign language learning program. I am currently studying German. I've been studying it since high school."
